Shawano Bassmasters 7th Annual Fall Bass Tournament was held at Huckleberry Harbor on Saturday, September 12, 2009. . The weather was spectacular for September. Participating in the tournament were 28 teams, catching 95 largemouth bass for a total weight of 247.71 pounds. All fish were released back into Shawano Lake.
Winning this tournament was the team of Todd Crevier of De Pere and Tim Meyer of Neenah weighing in 6 largemouth bass totaling 20.66 pounds. (above)
The largest bass of the day, 5.80 pounds, was caught by the team of Josh Pratt pf Pulaski and Chris VanAsten of Rothchild (Left )
Monies raised by Shawano Bassmasters are used to donate to Safe Haven, Shawano School District, and other organizations in the community.
Shawano Bassmasters Team #1 was the winner of the Wisconsin Bass Federation 4 Man Tournament held on Shawano Lake. The team of Dick Schardt, Pat Schardt, Frank Wriezba, and Roger Teske had a total two day weight of 43.59#. Out weighing the second place team by 13.68#.
